Finally I am stepping closer and closer to become a true man of Singapore. Today, I went to CMPB for medical checkup. Well...I was pretty excited about what PES statues I will be. So last night i keep sleeping so that I will not be late meeting Francis and Shang Fu today and because of the loooooonnnnnggggg sleep, I woke up at 5.40am. I did not went to sleep again but stay up in front of my PC surfing nets and do nothing till 6.30am before I went to prepare myself.


I met Francis and Shang Fu at around 6.50pm and I was rather a bit late. Hehe...Our planned route is to take train to Tiong Bahru first and take cab from there to CMPB. However, we were seems fated to meet Kian Boon and his friend at Tiong Bahru at the same time in the same train. So in the end, we all chose to take bus 195 since we got 5 person and most importantly, it is cheaper. We were quite lost in the beginning on where to alight and how to get to CMPB. We got down a bus stop earlier(although both bus stop have to walk quite a long distances) and went to the wrong building. Haha..


When we walked to the registration counter, I was quite shocked because a friend of mine say the reception girl is rather beautiful but what we see was not true at all. Seems quite old sia! Anyway nothing big deal. We are not going to know them anyway. So after registration, we went on to the photo taking. For hairstyle not accepted by them, they will spray "water" on their hair and comb a side parting type of hairstyle or some funny type. People will hair dye will be temporary dye to black. Then we have to wear No. 3 uniform(upper only) to take the picture. After photo taking, we proceed to medical checkup.


First station I went was the blood and urine test. The urine test was quite a joke. We were all given a small container to contain our urine. We cannot use cubicle but only urinal. So everyone was busy and shy trying to get their urine into the container. All were making so much noise in the toilet. HAHa....Then we have to dip a urine test stick into it and empty the urine in the container and throw it after showing the stick to the medical officer. After that I was called up for a blood test. After this station, i went on to dental checkup. Basically just check the condition of my tooth and took an X-ray of it.


My 3rd station is chest X-ray. 4th station is eye sight test. At this station, i made a fool out of myself. I was instructed by one of the officer to move to the extreme left seat. Then another officer said something,


Officer A : Okay move to the left and wait for further instruction.
I moved


Officer B : Okay cover your left eye and read out the letters at the last 3rd row.
I did as instructed and read out a board with all the letters very blur blur without noticing that actually another guy is being tested.


Officer A : Hey no you! Is the other guy.
I looked my left and saw another guy


Me: oh...haha.....
Shang Fu : HAHHA!!!!!

Officer A: That is our poster man..haha...furthermore the letters are so blur, how can we test u on that!??
Shang Fu: haha...

So basically made a fool out of myself.Hehe... 5th station is hearing test. I was enclosed in a small box and i have to put on their headphone. So basically when i hear a noise(either left ear or right ear), i just raise up my hand according to which ear i heard the noise. 6th Station is consultation. My blood pressure, heart beat rate, BMI and private part was checked. Maybe at this station, the most shy part is when the GUY doctor ask u to take off your shorts, you got no choice but to show him your "brother". Rather shy right? But part of it, what can we do. After all these, the medical officer outside the consultation room announce to me that i am PES B statues
which i am rather sad but not really very sad


Last station was the most tiring. Not physically and mentally. It is basically to test your IQ i suppose. So it have observation questions, mathematic questions, phyisc question and some number pattern question. You have to do a lot of question within a short time. Like complete 29 questions within 11 minutes.So you have to think very fast. After at least 30 mins of struggling, I went out happily without knowing that there is another hell waiting for me. A 19 pages of survey to be done. OH MAN!!WAT THE HELL...The question they asked are also rather stupid. Something like," Do you feel positive about Singapore's future in the next 10 years?" So u have to circle agree or disagree. Next question ask," Do you feel negative about Singapore's future in the next 10 years?" Wat the hell...Stupid right..So this survey I anyhow answer it and manage to complete it within 30mins+


After checkup, we went to have our lunch at Tiong Bahru Plaza and went home. =)
