Went to school early in the morning to do fyp and prepare for a "2nd round of interview" to get into "highlighted projects". By right, this is already over and is a fact that most likely we will not get into "highlighted projects". However, our project supervisor, Mr Toh, insisted on us trying hard to get into highlights. So he plan to secretly arrange another session with our school of EEE director, Dr Dave Chong, to interview our projects again. So basically we had to prepare ourselves again. However, when kian boon went to sch, he broke the news that Mr Toh will not be calling Dr Dave Chong since we all have no confidence of showing him an even better work. Well...that's a gd thing i guess...at least all our faces are saved and Director's time is not wasted...So we begin to slack down a bit but still did our project a bit. After which, thomas, keyou, james, francis, shang fu, chin seng and me went to swim at my school's swimming pool. This time i swan 20 laps at one shot...damn exhausted man...i was trying very hard to catch up with keyou and thomas...swim like fish sia..so fast...anyway i still manage to complete that 20 laps....i wonder wat's next....So after swimming, i went home, took a nap, and out again to meet my fishing mates ---- Thomas , Lih ping, Francis and shang fu.


That day was actually raining quite heavily in the evening..fortunately it stopped at around 6 but with slight drizzling at 8+..I thought the fishing trip is going to be cancelled but according to info provided by francis, it is still suitable for fishing...so we went on to Anglers' Pole to meet.. at the same time buy cat fish again to catch a big toman fish. But as for goldfish, history seems to reply itself...we got hard time getting gold fish...Francis only manage to got $1 worth of goldfish when he ordered for $5 worth of goldfish...reason is shop does not have enough goldfish for sales...wat the hell..so we waited for lih ping, who is driving his car this time round, to bring us to serangoon again to get goldfish. Btw this round, we got additional fisherwoman to follow us this time. Her name is Cherry( or strawberry?? hahaha!!!! just kidding..no offence) So fortunately, this time we got goldfish again...so with the 4 guys --- francis, thomas, shang fu and me, squeezing at the back of the car, lih ping drove us and the lady to the fishing spot ah fu recommended last time...as told by francis, the weather was reall good...calm and high level water and no clouds...no one was there except us....


So we quickly unload our stuffs, lay ground sheets, put up our small and medium sized hook onto our rod, use goldfish and catfish as our live bait, we cast it into the water and waiting for some good catch...i casted my 7 feet long rod with live catfish to the deepest of the resevoir i can reach...Fu's and thomas's rod were also there...luckily mine and fu's fish was kept alive and can swim around freely...however fu wasn't as lucky as me, his fish went below the jetty and hook got stuck...in the end we have to break the line and waste the catfish and hooks... this happen to thomas soon after he changed his dead catfish to a live one...as for my the other 6 feet long rod, i use goldfish as bait and let cherry cast it a few times. I almost lost this rod when it caught a fish...that fish pulled my rod down when i was busy at the jetty settling my catfish...fortunately lih ping was in time to pull my rod back and help me to catch the fish...however, due to lack of experience, we broke the line and the fish went off freely... sad...but never mind, i know i'll get my chances agin as long the rod is still on land...


Anyway lih ping manage to got 2 catfish before getting a medium sized stingray!! yahoo!! this means our fishing fund will be increased...haha....it was a tough but short fight..we managed to pull it up, removed the hook and saved it from god of death...then for a super long period of time, the rod were so quiet...no reaction at all...we tot that is the end of our catch but it seems like we were so determine to get at least one more catch...so while waiting, marvin volunteer himself again to get chong pang nasi lemak for us again..we waited till 5+, my 7 feet rod suddenly got BIG response...the line was running fast, rod was pulled strongly and it fell...marvin quickly grab hold of it and then i tried to reel it back..was quite a strong one..so most of us knew we got a big toman...then i passed to ah fu for him to try to reel the thing back and he did it..it was big and heavy man..i was so worried that my rod will break...fortunately it did not....anyway i gave it to marvin as he seems to want to have it...so hopefully he cooked it well and made a gd dish out of it...thereafter we went home i only got to reach home at 6..damn tired...
