Today, i went to Crossfire Paintball which is inside Singapore Discovery Centre...The people who went to play the games includes Shang Fu, Azhar, Francis, Lih Ping, Thomas, Keyou and James. We were suppose to meet at Boon Lay mrt station at 10.30am. However, I was the latest and I only reach there at 10.50am.Ops..everyone was looking at me. Keke..Sorry guys. So end up, instead of take bus 193 or 182 bus to the discovery centre, we all took cabs to go there as we did not want to reach there late. Azhar, james, shang fu and thomas took a cab and the rest of us took a merz cab..damn...more expensive...the moment we get onto the cab, it already cost $3 as i tink i took the "Environment Friendly" cab...meaning it uses natural gas to drive the car. another thing that surprise me is, the merz cab driver actually do not know how to get to Singapore Discovery Centre...wat the hell man...wat if a tourist book his cab and want to go down but he dunno, wouldn't tat disgrace him as a limo taxi driver??Fortunately we found out that the centre is closed for a year renovation...anyway by the time we reach there, it cost us $4.90 but approximate $5...


Then we walk into the centre cluelessly...we have no idea how to get to the paintball site...so we try to explore around to look for an information centre...we were first being guided by two cleaners to a security centre where we were being directed to the waiting room. we have to wait at the waiting room to be brief before approaching thr game site...when we went in, there was actually another group just finished playing...after they left, we went in and start to change into our long sleeves, long t-shirts and shoes...then a moment later, a lady came in..dun remember her name liao but basically is the person in charge of our group today...so she briefed us on R&R, operations of the air-gun which is a toy carbine air-gun..mind you, though it is a gun, it is still hurts when u got hit in close range...other than the above two briefing, she also briefed us on the games we will be playing and how to play. After we were all ready, the ladies brought us to the arena(or game site). When we reach there, i guess most of us were filled with excitment...was tinking when can we take the gun, mask and SBO so that we can play the game...So after a 2nd briefing, we got into our teams of 4 and each took a set of gun,mask and sbo and one extra magazine. Each magazine have 20 rounds, so each of us has at least 40 rounds to shoot. However, as we were not told that the rounds drop out easily from the magazine, we lost some rounds on the floor...The first game was to shoot down a balloon in opponent's base. Our target is in a castle which is also opponents base. So we talk a bit of strategy and were ready for siren. By the way my team consist of azhar, lih ping, shang fu and me...


So when siren sounded, we all chiong to the front, looking for our enemies and try to shoot them. i was shocked that the it is very difficult to aim with this rifle...so all shots based on senses and judgement...when i was running, i was cursing and swearing...it was damn tiring to chiong...got difficulty in breathing in the safety mask...anyway after 2-3 mins of play, my team lost when thomas managed to find his way back to my base and burst the balloon...so tat's the end of first game. We then proceed back to safety area to be brief on the 2nd and 3rd. the objective of these two games is to get 2 out of 3 frags located in the arena and wave it up at our base. before the game started, we start to look out for the flags. we even asked one of the guy where is the other flag..wahaha...cheat hor?? we never hor...tactics... =P first round me and azhar rushed for the two flags and quickly run back to base(castle)...we were dead by the time we reach the top of the castle...the stairs seems to be never ending...azhar dun even have strength to wave the flag when we got there..haha...so we won the 2nd round. the 3rd round was quite a close match but my team still won...haha...break the saying that black sbo is more lucky(my team were wearing green SBOs)...the 4th and 5th round basically is the elimination game. basically when someone is shot, the person who got shot is out of the game and must return to safety zone. Unlucky, i was the first to be shot down in my team by thomas, who joined in a moment when he got shot back by lih ping..haha...we almost won this round but francis managed to beat lih ping, the pro, by tactics...so the score is 2-2, a tied and the 5th round is a crucial round...so when siren sounded, we quickly choose a place to hide and start to shoot our enemies...my team managed to get most of opponent's shot down with francis the last man in that team. luckily he was out of ammo and we won the game..wahaha...overall we won the whole game...


with the remaining rounds, the kind lady set up 6 balloons for us to shoot..after shooting balloons, the rest of us shoot coconuts with the remaining rounds...ahaha!!!! funny right...after the game, we were brought back to breifing room to change and pay up...i tink totally 8 person cost $330...we then went to jurong point the food court to have our lunch and went home...i guess most of us were tired but is worth it..
