On thursday,Azhar, Kian Boon,Keyou,Chin Seng and me still have to wear formal for our TNP presentation. basically for this presentation we are presenting our business idea, the product we intend to launch to the market, the factors that determines whether our product will sell or not and lastly the survey data we received from 30 respondants. Overall i tink we did pretty well...so hopefully our results will be good...On the same day, we stayed back again to prepare our project for the real "project highlights" selections. Azhar and thomas fixed the sensors onto the repaired heli again i tried to fly it again. As usual, i got some difficulties in controlling it when flying in the lab. So i decided to try flying it outdoor where more space is avialable. After a few practise, i was able to control it well and the sensors and programs worked well with each other. So we decided that on friday we shall present it at outdoor since the effect of avoiding obstacle is more obvious.


However on friday morning, the weather seems to be bad on me. Dark clouds was gathering and it started to drizzle. So the plan made on thursday night have to be cancelled and brought our presentation back into the lab. I practise a while again in the lab but i know it will be dangerous as i cannot control it well in confined space. So i decided to fix the training skid onto the heli. the purpose of this is to skid on the ground rather then flying it. This way, not only can avoid accidents, but also i can better control it and show to the director of school of EEE the objective of our project. However, we did not receive really gd comments on it as i did not flew the thing up. So the director and other judges were not really convince about our project. Nothing can done then so we just wait for results lor...At night, i went to fishing with Francis only at usual place. Thomas went to chalet so he did not join us. lih ping and shang fu were tired so they did not turn up too. Francis and I initially went to the bridge,which is a restricted place, to fish. After around 20 mins, we were spotted by security. So we were being chased away to the permitted fishing area. Though our target were not caught, we still got some return ---- 3 tioman fish. Mentioning of tioman, it reminds me of the sin i made. basically for the first fish i hooked up, the hook actually hooked onto the fish's tongue. At the moment, i can feel the pain the fish is going through. Francis even tried to use force to pull the hook out. Poor fish. So i decided to cut and string and let it go. But the decision i made was too late and it was dead. The 2nd fish is also bad. The hook went into the gills. At first i tot the fish was injured so didn't bother much. But when i wan to take the hook out of it's mouth, i realised the hook was all in and that cause the bleeding at the gills. I immediately cut away the string and let it go. For the above two fish, i regret putting back into the water because firstly, it will pollute the water. secondly, if another big fish eats them, it will get the hook too and will die sooner or later...wat a big sin i commited...really regret for not taking the fish back to eat...damn it...

The 1st Tioman fish i caught

On saturday, I went to study with guan zhong at the mac located beside amkss, my formal secondary school...gz was actually prepapring for his test this week and me just revise my work. at the same time also prepare myself for my test which will be in 2 weeks time.we studied till 1+am before going home.


monday was quite a happy day for me. That day, i played basketball with my classmates instead of going to gym and exercise. usually i dun attempt to shoot 3 points shot. but for some reasons which i dunno, i decided to try to shoot two 3 points shoot.to my surprise, i manage to get both in successfully into the net...i was so lucky man...after the game, i want to try my luck again. so i played another game with keyou, james, francis and lih ping. i tried to shoot 3 points and most of them got in...haha..really a happy day for me..of course keyou also did got in quite a number of 3 points ball


today, i took part in the paintball competition organised by the army during their "army encounter" exhibition. my team consist of Thomas, Azhar, Shang Fu and me. So we purposely skipped a bit of our lessons to take part in this competition. the objective of the game is to shoot down two miniature targets and then bring back an ammo box, which is placed at the front line, back to the base. After we were being briefed on the fixtures and R&R of the game, we went onto our "battlefield". Before that, a few officials helped us to put on the safety vest and mask and then distribute the airgun filled with waterballs to us. We get to test shoot first before starting the real game. When the siren sounded, we went all out to shoot our opponents and the targets. after getting the targets down, i quickly bring back the ammo box back to base successful. During the 2nd battle, it was thomas's turn to grab the ammo box back and he did it. Btw i acccidentally friendly fired my teammate --- shang fu when he was covering thomas who is taking the ammo box. And the only thing i did was to say "opss..."haha..poor ah fu... Anyway I was quite happy that we won and i got high hopes in getting into 2nd round. However, i just received news that we were out. This game not only based on objectives, but also how fast the team can complete the objectives. there were 34 teams but only 16 teams can get into 2nd round. theoretically got 17 teams qualify for 2nd round. Very unlucky, my team position 17th in terms of timing. Thus we failed to get into 2 nd round. I was so sad and disappointed as my hopes were so high...hai~~....watever...just take it as an experience and fun ba....sad sad sad... Then i realised that all 4 of us --- me, azhar, thomas and shang fu wrote almost the same thing in their blog regarding this competition. I understand how they all felt. We really played very well with good teamwork. I have never felt this shiok before. But the cruel officials just kicked us out like that. If paintball ain't ex, i going to play it often man...but at least $35...how many students can afford it man??
