Yesterday was my first time to go fishing...I went with Francis, Thomas, Shang Fu and Lih Ping...It was rather a wonderful experience to me.However prior to fishing, i got to spend about $50 just to buy some basic stuff for fishing such as the rod(obviously right??), weight, hooks, connectors, a roll of good string and touch light. I got all these stuff from Changi Village. We shop 3 shops and i got mine at the 3rd shop. I went there like a fishing-idiot...dunno how to choose my rod and the things to buy for fishing. Luckily Francis was there to help me to get the things...After purchasing my rod and etc, we all went home first before meeting up again at 9pm+ at our fishing ground(shall keep it a secret...hehe....). At there, Franics teaches me the technique to cast the line out, fix the hook and put the baits..quite a gd learning experience...


The most unlucky thing that happened to us was the cruel sky. Knew we want to fish and still rain so heavily...wat's worse was the wind blowing strongly...at first I was feeling rather sianz cos i have not even dip my rod into the water...haha...but it manage to get wet in the rain as i place it outside Thomas car when we hiding in his car. The heavy rain lasted for about 1+ hour i tink...then to kill time, Thomas drove us to AMK Central K-pool to play pool after taking in the rods when the rain is lighter a bit...


After an hour of playing, we went back to our fishing ground to try our luck again. However it was still drizzling but we decided to go on with it lor...The first one to caught fish was thomas before rainning but i dunno what fish he got...haha...then when we went back, Francis was the first to caught a Catfish...i was pretty excited but also feel sad for the fish as i can imagine how pain it is to be hook in the mouth and when it is being pulled out...ouch man....then surprisingly, i manage to caught one fish too but it wasn't the species we want. So end up i release it back into the water...Then after long waiting, no one caught fish...then we decided to go home as the time was already 3+ reaching 4am...so we start retracting our lines and keep our things...SUDDENLY~~ Lih Ping felt something on his hook...he thought the hook got stuck on a rock...so we tried to help me put it back...but it wasn't right..it seems he hook onto a fish rather than a rock...So all of our surprise, WE GOT A STINGRAY!!!...It was a big female pregnant stingray...Thomas later suggest we put it back into the water and most of us also agreed except for one guy...haha...he wanted to keep but we dun let him...haha...shan't not mention him...hehe....So we cut off the line as the hook was stuck in her mouth(ouch!!!) and let her swim back into the water...Some ppl may scold us stupid but i feel that if we got her, we are doing sin...So basically the most eye-opening thing for me and the biggest event happened last night...


Anyway last night i believe all of us had quite a great time as we had a lot of laughter...such as making fun of those couple in their car doing *** and covering their car with newspaper, fu had to wear a stinky rain coat of thomas to take back the rods and fu eating the burger without washing hand after he use his hand to take live goldfish to hook onto his hook...haha...well, i can see more enjoyment coming up in future...Thanks GUYS!!!
