as promise, an update on my chalet...the chalet was actually booked by a fren of mine..suppose to be a 4 day 3 night chalet...however he was unable to make it for the chalet, so he sold it to me..it was rather very cheap...cheap till i dun even believe him at first...guess wat was the price of this 4day3 night chalet? it's only $45...no more not less...yes..only 2 digits!so actually he booked from 27 Feb to 2 Mar...but becos my paper end only on 28Feb, so we have to waste one day and book in only on 28th night around 8+ near 9 becos of long travelling time..haha...
so on 28 after my last paper, which was rather a disappointment, i went home immediately to take my bag with clothes and other things..i did not bring it to sch becos firstly, i did not pack my bag the day before as i was busy preparing exam..also i did not want a guy from my class to know we have chalet as i totally have not intention of asking him to go..guess a few also dun wish him to go ba..i guess...so on my way down, i brought my bro's PS2 down secretly too..haha...
when keyou,francis and i reach there, thomas, yujie and lih ping are already there..so immediately i open the door..my first impression when i enter the chalet is "wah...so big...this is cool" there is a big living room, a kitchen, 2 toilets and 2 bedrooms with 2 beds eachs, 2 square folded table, a dining table, 10 plastic chairs, 1 TV and a set of sofas... btw it is a 2 storey chalet..unfortunately, only the bedroom have air-cons..
as we got nothing to do, we took one of the square table to play mahjong but it was not a very gd mahjong table...so we decided to rent one for $3 per day from office the next day but when i went there, all were rented out and then i know they only got 3 tables.. -_-" so we just went on with the lousy table..so the first night, 2 of us play ps2 and 4 of us played mahjong after having our late dinner at changi village...i tink at ard 3+, 3 of us were quite tired, so we went to slp till 11+ next morning..the other 3 waited till after watching sunrise then slp..then next day,we did the same thing but more and more ppl came..quite happy to see much ppl came to join us..however, a bit guilty tat we did not order enough bbq food for them..haha..hope they dun mind...mentioning abt bbq rite, i wan to tell my friends tat FairPrice's charcoal really sux...i dunno izzit my setting fire skills, always cannot set up a gd fire for bbq...somehow their charcoal are quite wet and for 2 or 3 hours of bbq, i have to keep on fanning the charcoal to keep the temperature high enough for cooking...the moment i stop to fan, 20 mins later, the heat seems no longer there...luckily all the food are still cooked...after BBQ seesion, we went to broadwalk..the atmosphere there is rather gd for couple i would say...but just tat it is too far n i doubt couple will go there unless they having chalet there...when we came back,i went to make phone call after i bath(hehe....) while the rest of my frens played bluff, some ps2, some chatting away and some mahjong...
next day morning, i woke everyone up and we start packing our stuff..after several time of checking the inventories and tidyness of the chalet, we left the chalet after everyone is done...overall, i feel that it was quite a fun chalet...hopefully the rest feel the same..i wonder when will be my next chalet for either my class or my secondary frens and buddy
